La qualità del video è eccellente, anche nel delicato passaggio da Hdmi a Dvi, grazie ad un equalizzatore interno; la compatibilità ci è sembrata buona sia con un dvd player Denon non recentissimo, sia con l'ottimo lettore universale Oppo Dv 980 H. Lo switch supporta lo standard Hdmi 1.3 e dovrebbe quindi funzionare con tutti i televisori full Hd e Hd ready, ma anche con Pc, per risoluzioni fino a 1920 x1200. Il prezzo non è bassissimo, ma è un apparecchio che permette di prolungare ancora per qualche anno la vita di un Lcd o di un Plasma magari ancora validissimi ma che altrimenti dovrebbero essere sostituiti per la scarsità di ingressi.

• Apenas ligeiramente mais caro que um switch HDMI básico e puramente mecânico,o Oppo HM-31 faz tudo o que promete de forma eficaz, atraente e exemplar, quer no campo SD quer no HD, e resolve mesmo algumas dores de cabeça (e nalguns casos de coluna também...), podendo obviar o dispendioso upgrade do sistema (ecrã ou receiver), não sendo essa provavelmente a menor das dores. O Oppo HM-31 é por tudo isto um produto altamente recomendado e não me parece heresia de maior considerá-lo o mais honesto e menos tóxico dos remédios, para os tempos de crise que atravessamos.
